60-Year-Old Man Dies After ATV Accident in Armstrong County
Michael McGuire, a 60-year-old man from Sarver, Butler County, died after his Yamaha Grizzly ATV went over an embankment and rolled into a ditch roughly 600 yards from his hunting camp in Madison Township, Armstrong County. He was last seen alive on July 18 and was found deceased on Monday morning, with state police and the Armstrong County Coroner's Office investigating the crash. McGuire was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, and an autopsy will not be performed. A retired UPS driver and active member of the Rimersburg Rod & Gun Club, McGuire enjoyed camping, hunting, shooting competitions, and taxidermy, and is remembered for his love of the outdoors and family. He is survived by his wife Gina and children Meggan, Jacob, and Isaac. Multiple local volunteer fire departments and Pennsylvania State Police troopers assisted at the scene.
