Wolves Sign Jhon Arias from Fluminense
Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed Colombian winger Jhon Arias from Fluminense on a four-year contract, paying €22 million for 90% of his sporting rights, with Fluminense retaining a percentage of any future sale. Arias, aged 27, joins as Wolves' second summer signing after Fer Lopez and will reunite with former teammates Andre and Yerson Mosquera. He was a key figure in Fluminense's 2023 Copa Libertadores victory and earned three Player of the Match awards during their Club World Cup semifinal run. Over 230 appearances for Fluminense, Arias scored 47 goals and provided 55 assists. Internationally, he has 31 caps for Colombia and played in the 2024 Copa America final. Arias arrives following the departures of Matheus Cunha, Rayan Ait-Nouri, and Pablo Sarabia from Wolves.
