Police seek help identifying body found in Birmingham canal
West Midlands Police are seeking assistance in identifying a man whose body was discovered in a Birmingham canal on November 30. The man, described as Asian, aged between 50 and 60, of medium build with black hair, showed no signs of injury and there is no evidence of third-party involvement. He has a tattoo on his right hand resembling the Sikh symbol 'Ek Onkar'. Despite efforts to engage with the local community and the nearest Gurdwara, police have not yet succeeded in identifying him. Authorities are appealing to the public for any information that could aid in the identification process. The body is currently held by the coroner pending funeral arrangements.
