Man Charged GBH as Three-Month-Old Baby in Critical Condition Newcastle Hospital
A three-month-old baby boy is in critical condition at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle after suffering life-threatening injuries at a property in the Eston area of Middlesbrough. Emergency services, including paramedics and Cleveland Police, responded to the incident on October 5, and a 22-year-old man named Bradley Thomas from Redcar has been charged with section 18 grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent. The man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court on October 7. Authorities are treating the case with seriousness given the severity of the infant's condition. The police were alerted by ambulance services following the emergency call. This case remains under investigation as the baby remains critically ill in hospital.
