Hailie Deegan Joins Formula Regional Americas

Hailie Deegan, after parting ways with her Xfinity Series team AM Racing, is set to make her debut in the open-wheel racing scene with the Formula Regional Americas Championship at the Circuit of the Americas on November 2-3. The 23-year-old driver, who has previously competed in NASCAR's Truck Series achieving notable finishes, expressed excitement about this new chapter, particularly since she has familiarity with the COTA track. Deegan aims to leverage her experience from her successful stint in the ARCA series and her off-road racing background as she transitions to single-seater racing. Her team, Toney Driver Development, is optimistic about her potential, highlighting the challenges ahead in this new environment. Despite the abrupt end of her NASCAR career, Deegan remains determined to prove herself and learn from this fresh opportunity.
