Maven Huffman, a three-time WWE Hardcore Champion and co-winner of the inaugural Tough Enough, has officially confirmed his retirement from full-time professional wrestling. In a recent interview on the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast, the 48-year-old expressed acceptance of aging and acknowledged that he can no longer perform at his previous athletic level, stating he is "perfectly fine with not being a wrestler anymore." While he remains open to the possibility of a one-off match, Maven emphasizes that his full-time wrestling days are behind him, focusing instead on his successful YouTube channel where he discusses wrestling topics and answers fan questions. His WWE career began in 2001, highlighted by a memorable elimination of The Undertaker at the 2002 Royal Rumble, and ended with his release in 2005, followed by sporadic independent appearances. Additionally, Kelly Kelly, a former WWE Divas Champion, has also stepped away from full-time wrestling, citing the demands of motherhood with newborn twins and prioritizing family over the wrestling grind, though she remains connected to WWE through a Legends deal that allows for occasional appearances without the pressures of full-time competition.
