Recent Kayaking Accidents Result in Deaths, Injuries

Multiple kayaking accidents have recently resulted in fatalities and critical injuries. A 72-year-old man from Florence, South Carolina, died after his kayak capsized while riding a wave near Cape Hatteras National Seashore; bystanders attempted CPR but were unsuccessful. Another man in his 50s is in critical condition after capsizing on the Matawin River near Trois-Rivières and being rescued by fellow kayakers.
