U.S. Cities Launch Summer Events and Festivals

Communities across the U.S. are launching summer with a wide variety of outdoor and cultural events. Great Falls, Montana, marks the season with National Trails Day, special dam access, educational hikes, farmers markets, and Craft Beer Week ending in Montana Brew Fest. Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has opened outdoor pools and spray parks, and is offering Free Family Fridays with complimentary admission on certain days. Chicago is hosting over 90 summer activities, including farmers markets, music festivals, free outdoor movies, and fireworks along Lake Michigan. Pahrump, Nevada, is featuring outdoor movies, family festivals, and a new Shakespeare theater production. Janesville, Wisconsin, offers water ski shows, a dairy breakfast, bike races, and a veterans benefit car show.
