The poster features Alcock’s Supergirl sipping a drink against a wall with a graffitied tagline "Look Out," signaling a tone distinct from 'Superman’s' "Look Up." The film, directed by Craig Gillespie and slated for release on June 26, 2026, will portray a more complex and troubled version of Supergirl, contrasting with Superman’s relatively happy upbringing. James Gunn emphasized that Supergirl’s background is much darker and more difficult, shaping her into a messier, more hardcore hero. The cast also includes Jason Momoa as the villain Lobo, along with Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, and David Krumholtz.
