Baseball Legend Pete Rose Dies at 83

Pete Rose, the legendary MLB player, was hospitalized on September 25 due to concerns from a friend about his unusual behavior, but was released after tests showed no significant health issues. He attended an autograph event in Nashville on September 29, where former teammate Tony Perez noted that Rose did not seem like his usual self and was in a wheelchair. Rose was found unresponsive in his Las Vegas home by his son on September 30, shortly after returning from the event. The Clark County Coroner's Office determined that his death was caused by hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, with diabetes as a contributing factor.
