Over 70 Iowa Agricultural Businesses Host First Statewide Farm Store Crawl

The first-ever Choose Iowa Farm Store Crawl is taking place this weekend, featuring nearly 70 Choose Iowa members across the state who are opening their farm stores, markets, and farm-to-table restaurants to visitors. Participants include diverse agricultural businesses such as Country View Dairy, Buffalo Ridge Orchard, and Lubben Winery, with many offering special deals via the Choose Iowa Passport digital platform. Several North Iowa locations, including The Market in Osage, Mossycup Farms in Clear Lake, and Purple Ribbon Beef in Britt, will provide samples, tastings, and exclusive promotions. This event offers Iowans and tourists a chance to support local farmers and small businesses while enjoying authentic agritourism experiences. The Farm Store Crawl coincides with other regional agricultural tours, such as the Iowa Barn Foundation’s Spring Barn Tour in Cedar County. A follow-up event, the Choose Iowa Farm-Store Open House, is scheduled for September, promising further opportunities to explore Iowa’s agricultural offerings.
