The Mater Dei Lady Knights secured their second consecutive Class 2A state title and ninth overall by defeating Bloomington Central Catholic in a thrilling match, with scores of 19-25, 25-20, and 25-23. Junior Addison Nenninger was named the state finals MVP for the second year, alongside senior Avery Wuebbels, who contributed significantly to the team's performance.
