Nyla Harris Transfers from Louisville to UNC Women's Basketball for 2025-26

Nyla Harris, a 6-2 forward who previously played for Louisville, has committed to the University of North Carolina women's basketball team, marking the Tar Heels' first addition from the transfer portal for the upcoming season. Harris, a five-star recruit out of high school, averaged 8.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in her final season with the Cardinals and brings significant experience, having started 81 of 105 career games. Her addition comes as UNC looks to replace departing frontcourt starters Alyssa Ustby and Maria Gakdeng, both of whom have exhausted their eligibility.
