BT Group Plans to Recruit Over 650 Apprentices Nationwide

BT Group is set to recruit over 600 apprentices and graduates for its September 2025 intake, focusing on areas such as cyber security, software engineering, and customer service across various UK locations. The company, recognized as the UK's leading private sector apprenticeship employer, has successfully recruited more than 3,000 apprentices and graduates over the past five years. Chief Human Resources Officer Athalie Williams expressed pride in the opportunities provided to new talent, highlighting the company's commitment to workforce development. Minister for Skills Jacqui Smith praised BT Group's efforts, noting that apprenticeships are vital for economic growth and breaking down barriers to opportunity. Additionally, BT has launched an Apprenticeship Fund to support SMEs and charities in accessing funding for apprenticeship programs. This initiative underscores the company's role in driving skill development and supporting the UK's digital sectors.
