Two men die in separate tractor accidents across Victoria, Florida

A pedestrian, a 35-year-old man from Weeki Wachee, Florida, was killed after being struck by a tractor-trailer while crossing U.S. 19 on Thursday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The incident occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m. and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. In a separate incident in Victoria, Australia, a 42-year-old man was fatally struck by a tractor near Nirranda South on the Great Ocean Road around the same time. The driver of the tractor stopped to assist the victim, but the man was declared dead shortly thereafter, marking the 37th road fatality in Victoria this year. Investigations into both incidents are ongoing, with police in Victoria preparing a report for the coroner. The identity of the victim in Florida has not yet been released by authorities.
