ESPN Reporter Marc Spears Racially Profiled in California

Marc J. Spears, a sports journalist and writer for ESPN, alleged that he and his friends were racially profiled and treated with suspicion at Anthem Interiors in Healdsburg, California. The store employees directed him to use the bathroom at the police station and made a racist comment. Store owner Janelle Loevner apologized to Spears, who found her apology sincere and plans to return to Healdsburg despite the incident.
