The rockslide occurred around 7 a.m., covering the highway between County Road 68 and County Road 50, with no estimated reopening time provided. The incident has delayed the cleanup of a previous truck crash on Interstate 70, which had already caused significant traffic disruptions. Eastbound lanes of I-70 were initially closed after a tractor-trailer crashed through the guardrail on Tuesday, but the planned cleanup was postponed due to the rockslide. Drivers are advised to take alternate routes as traffic is being rerouted on local roads. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries from the rockslide.
