Apple Details iPhone 17 Lineup, Replaces Plus Model

Apple is set to launch the iPhone 17 series in September 2025, with the lineup consisting of the base iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The iPhone 17 Air will replace the previous Plus model and stand out with its ultra-thin 5.65mm design, leveraging Apple's Air branding. Non-Pro models are expected to receive 120Hz displays and the new A19 chip, while at least three models will reportedly feature 12GB of RAM and improved cameras. Pro models may introduce a Sky Blue color option, a larger camera bump, and a redesigned aluminum and glass rear panel. Apple has successfully completed the EVT (Engineering Validation Test) pre-production stage, keeping the release on schedule. However, analysts predict iPhone sales may continue to decline, and Apple remains undecided on launching the entry-level iPhone 17e.
