China leads in AI patents and investments globally, promoting international cooperation in AI development. However, Canadian workers lag in adopting generative AI tools compared to global peers. While China leads in adoption rates, the US excels in fully implementing generative AI across operations, especially in industries like banking, insurance, and telecommunications, despite a gap in understanding the technology's full potential.
