The incident occurred on Cedar Street, where the victim was reportedly pulled from a red Toyota Camry and forced into a green Ford Explorer. The Ford Explorer, driven by Ballesteros, fled the scene, with a second woman subsequently driving away the Camry. The victim, believed to be Ballesteros' girlfriend, sustained minor injuries and was found with him at a motel in Carson. Authorities had previously sought public assistance in locating the victim, who was described as a Hispanic woman in her 40s, and identifying the suspect.
