Hull Fair 2025 Inspires Hull Community Art Project Launch

Several UK communities are engaging the public to contribute to local art and cultural projects aimed at enhancing mental health, community connection, and place-making. Hull Fair’s return coincides with World Mental Health Day, featuring a collaborative doodle art project called Art Draws Us Together, encouraging participants to create portraits that build a large communal artwork reflecting diversity and joy, alongside mindful colouring and Kintsugi workshops (Article 1). Meanwhile, Torridge District Council is actively seeking input from Westward Ho! residents through surveys to design a major public artwork that celebrates the village's heritage and vibrancy, with plans for a new installation by 2026; the initiative includes varied art forms such as murals, sculptures, or interactive trails (Articles 3 and 4).
