Francesa Critiques Sterling's Yankees Comeback

Mike Francesa has strongly criticized John Sterling's decision to return to the Yankees' radio booth for the 2024 postseason, suggesting it undermines younger announcers who have filled in during his absence. He emphasized that it's time for others to take the spotlight, stating, 'Sooner or later you’ve got to let somebody else work!' Both Francesa and Russo questioned the necessity of Sterling's return, with Russo stating it wasn't the right thing to do.
