Wisconsin Woman Dies in Snowmobile Crash, Inwood Township

A 46-year-old woman from Dodgeville, Wisconsin, tragically died in a snowmobile accident on the Haywire Grade Trail in Inwood Township on January 17. Michigan State Police were called to the scene around 7:20 PM, where the woman had lost control of her snowmobile and collided with multiple trees. Members of her snowmobiling group initiated CPR before first responders arrived, but despite lifesaving efforts from EMS and police, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary investigations indicate that alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash. Lt.
