Qantas Redesigns Uniform Amid Project Sunrise

Qantas has announced the redesign of its crew uniform for the first time in over a decade, coinciding with its ambitious Project Sunrise, which includes historic non-stop flights between Sydney and Europe. This change is part of a broader brand and fleet overhaul under CEO Vanessa Hudson, who emphasizes the importance of the uniform in reflecting Qantas' evolving brand identity. The airline plans to introduce the new uniforms by 2027, involving its 17,500-strong workforce in the design process to ensure the new look resonates with staff and the airline's future direction. Qantas will collaborate with Australian designers to develop the eleventh uniform in its 105-year history, marking a significant departure from the current design by Martin Grant.
