Four Dead, Two Injured in Fiery Two-Car Crash, Investigation Ongoing in Boca Raton

Four people were killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle crash late Monday night near Boca Raton, Florida, when one car collided with a utility pole and the other caught fire. Emergency responders found one vehicle in the bushes with its engine compartment ablaze; the two occupants of that car managed to escape and were transported to a trauma center. The second vehicle, carrying four people, struck a utility pole, and all four were pronounced dead at the scene. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident, and the affected section of South Military Trail is expected to remain closed for an extended period during the investigation.
