Yogja Singh Accuses Anand Prakash of Fraud

Yogja Singh, daughter of retired General VK Singh, has filed an FIR against businessman Anand Prakash, accusing him of defrauding her of Rs 3.5 crore in a property deal dating back to 2014. Singh claims she agreed to purchase a bungalow in Ghaziabad for Rs 5.5 crore, but despite multiple payments totaling Rs 3.5 crore, Prakash never finalized the sales deed. Allegations include that Prakash sent her a false notice and filed an eviction suit using fabricated receipts, while also taking a loan against the property without her knowledge. Singh's complaint highlights issues of transparency in property transactions, as police initiate an investigation. The case has attracted additional scrutiny, with VK Singh also suing Prakash for defamation over misleading media reports about the situation. The police have confirmed that appropriate actions are being taken in response to the allegations.
