Fatal Head-On Collisions Reported Across the U.S.

Several fatal head-on collisions were reported across the U.S. in recent days. In Genesee County, NY, Joseph M. Meli died and four others were injured after his car struck another vehicle while attempting to pass on Route 33, with the cause under investigation. In Grand County, Colorado, a Subaru Crosstrek crossed the center line, causing one death and critically injuring three, including two children. A man from Flushing Township died after his vehicle veered into oncoming traffic and caught fire in Shiawassee County, Michigan. In Franklin County, Indiana, William Pearson was killed and his passenger injured after his car collided head-on with a semitruck. Additionally, two people were injured, but no fatalities occurred, in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, Texas, after a driver failed to yield the right of way.
