Enea Bastianini secured victory in the MotoGP sprint at the Thailand Grand Prix, showcasing dominance after an aggressive first lap that saw title rivals Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia momentarily pushed out of contention. Martin finished second, extending his championship lead over Bagnaia to 22 points, who rounded out the podium in third place. The race began with Martin's risky lunge at Turn 1, which briefly relegated him and Bagnaia but allowed Bastianini to take the lead. Despite Martin's efforts to regain positions, including overtaking Bagnaia, he could not catch Bastianini, who maintained a comfortable lead throughout the race. The race featured a total of eight Ducati riders in the top eight positions, highlighting their dominance. As the championship progresses, all eyes will be on the main race scheduled for Sunday.
