PWHL Seattle Vancouver Announce Inaugural 2025-26 Season Schedules
The Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) is set to launch its 2025-26 season with expansion teams in Seattle and Vancouver playing their inaugural games in November. Seattle will open the season on November 21 at Vancouver's Pacific Coliseum and host its first home game on November 28 at Climate Pledge Arena against the back-to-back Walter Cup champion Minnesota Frost. Vancouver, currently without an official team name, will play its first home game on November 21 and has announced a 30-game schedule featuring a strong roster and several home and road games through April. Both teams will have breaks in their schedules for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, with several players expected to participate. Season tickets and single-game tickets for both teams will be available starting in October. The PWHL's expansion marks a new chapter for women's professional hockey, bringing increased visibility and competition to the Pacific Northwest and Canada.
