The hub will occupy about 427,000 square feet on the Aspiria campus, formerly Sprint’s global headquarters, and is part of Fiserv’s strategy to foster innovation and collaboration by establishing large fintech centers in key locations. The site was selected for its central location, access to a growing tech talent pool, and affordable living, with the company aiming to hire full-time employees at an average annual salary of $125,000 by 2030. Overland Park and state officials have proposed an incentives package, including a 10-year property tax rebate, contingent upon Fiserv meeting investment and hiring targets. The initiative is expected to significantly boost the local economy and strengthen Fiserv’s service offerings to clients. This move follows a nationwide site search, with Overland Park chosen over other contenders such as Nashville.
