Clipse Perform First Rap Concert at Vatican St. Peter’s Square

American rap duo Clipse made history as the first rappers to perform at the Vatican during the "Grace for the World" concert held at St. Peter's Square on September 13, 2025. Joined by John Legend, Clipse performed their tribute song "The Birds Don't Sing" from their album "Let God Sort Em Out," delivering an emotional and reflective set wearing formal attire. The concert, co-directed and executive produced by Pharrell Williams through his company Something in the Water, featured a star-studded lineup including Jennifer Hudson, BamBam, Jelly Roll, Karol G, Teddy Swims, and Maestro Andrea Bocelli, and was part of the World Meeting on Human Fraternity.
