Kimpton Plans New Hotel in Monterrey

Kimpton, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, has announced plans for a new boutique luxury hotel and branded residences in Monterrey, Mexico, set to open in 2026 within the Torre Rise, anticipated to be the tallest tower in Latin America. The Kimpton Monterrey will feature 120 guest rooms and 60 private residences, enhancing IHG's footprint in the branded residences sector. Key amenities will include a wellness center with an indoor pool, a full-service restaurant, and a lobby lounge, alongside Kimpton's signature offerings like social hours and pet-friendly policies. The hotel aims to attract both leisure and business travelers, given Monterrey's status as Mexico's second-largest economy and an international business hub. Guests will enjoy proximity to local attractions, including shopping centers and galleries, with exclusive access to the skyscraper's amenities like a sky deck and elevated park.
