X Games 30th Anniversary Set for Salt Lake City

The X Games will celebrate their 30th anniversary in Salt Lake City from June 27-29, 2025, at the Utah State Fairpark and Event Center. This marks the first time the event will be held in Salt Lake City, known for its strong action sports culture and vibrant fan base. More than 100 top athletes will compete for over $1 million in prize money, and the event will include Moto X, BMX, and skateboarding competitions alongside entertainment and interactive fan experiences. This year's event is part of a broader expansion plan by X Games CEO Jeremy Bloom, who aims to establish long-term partnerships and potentially introduce a new multi-team league format. The event is expected to draw around 100,000 attendees and will be broadcast on ESPN and ABC. Salt Lake City was also recently selected as the host for the 2034 Winter Olympics.
