Bus Driver, Wife Die After Car Plunges 300ft Cliff Isle of Wight

John, a former network driver for Southern Vectis, had been caring for his frail and seriously ill wife Lynn, who had been housebound for two years. Neighbors last saw the couple on the day of the incident, with John assisting Lynn into the car along with their two Dachshund dogs. Emergency services recovered the vehicle from the water below, and a police investigation is ongoing, including inquiries at the couple's home.
