Florida State 66-10 Rout Sets Rushing Records

Florida State routed Kent State 66-10, setting school records with 498 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns. The Seminoles improved to 3-0, totaling 1,089 rushing yards and 17 rushing TDs through three games, and lead the country in scoring and total offense. Coaches credited a physical offensive line and an influx of transfers for the dominant ground attack and said the team used an early bye to prepare and get healthier.
