Miami Marlins Hire Jack McMullen as New Radio Announcer
The Miami Marlins have officially appointed Jack McMullen as their new lead play-by-play announcer for the Marlins Radio Network, succeeding Kyle Sielaff. McMullen, a Syracuse University graduate, previously served as the voice for the Indianapolis Indians, the Pittsburgh Pirates' Triple-A affiliate, and has experience in various broadcasting roles, including podcasting for Just Baseball Media. He will debut on February 22 during the Grapefruit League season and will call all regular-season games on WINZ 940 AM. A rotation of analysts, including former Marlins All-Star A.J. Ramos and other seasoned broadcasters, will join McMullen in the booth for different games. Sielaff transitioned to the television play-by-play role for Marlins games on FanDuel Sports Network. The Marlins expressed confidence that McMullen's skills and multimedia experience will resonate well with their fanbase.
