Manchester City Commissions Statue, Road, Mosaic for Kevin De Bruyne

Manchester City is honoring Kevin De Bruyne's decade-long legacy with multiple tributes as he prepares to leave the club this summer. The club announced the commissioning of a statue to be erected outside the Etihad Stadium, joining other City legends like Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany, and David Silva, celebrating De Bruyne's impact and achievements including six Premier League titles and the Champions League. De Bruyne received a guard of honor during his final home game, with video tributes and a special presentation including a framed shirt and lifetime season card. Additionally, City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak unveiled a mosaic depicting one of De Bruyne's iconic celebrations, installed near the training pitch at the City Football Academy, and a road at the academy has been named Kevin De Bruyne Crescent. These honors reflect De Bruyne's status as one of the club's greatest players over more than 400 appearances and 19 major trophies. While De Bruyne has not confirmed his next club, reports suggest Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire as a likely destination.
