Gunman Confesses to Killing Five in Dunkirk
A 22-year-old French gunman, Paul D., has killed five people in a shooting spree near a migrant camp in Dunkirk, reportedly motivated by a grudge against migrants. The rampage began with the assassination of his former boss, Paul Dekeister, 29, in front of his family at their home in Wormhout. Following this, he targeted two Iraqi Kurds, both shot at point-blank range, and subsequently killed two security guards working for the Eamus Cork Security company. All victims suffered fatal shots to the head, indicating the shooter's experience with firearms. After the killings, Paul D. turned himself in to police, claiming a long-standing dispute with the security company. Local officials expressed shock at the violence, prompting an investigation into the murders.
