2025 GRAMMY Hall Of Fame Gala to Feature Emmylou Harris, Jon Batiste, Ledisi
The 2025 GRAMMY Hall of Fame Gala, scheduled for May 16 at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, will honor newly inducted iconic recordings with performances by Emmylou Harris (joined by Daniel Lanois and Brian Blade), Eddie Floyd, Jody Stephens of Big Star, Ledisi, Leslie Odom Jr., Orianthi, and Cindy Blackman, among others. Notably, Harris, Floyd, and Stephens will perform in celebration of their own inducted works, including Harris’s 'Wrecking Ball,' Floyd’s 'Knock on Wood,' and Big Star’s '#1 Record.' Jon Batiste will both perform and receive the inaugural Ray Charles 'Architect of Sound' Award, recognizing exceptional creative innovation, while Republic Records will be honored as the label of the year. The Gala will also spotlight other influential inducted albums and singles, such as Santana’s 'Supernatural,' Cat Stevens’ 'Tea for the Tillerman,' and Miami Sound Machine’s 'Conga.' CBS News journalist Anthony Mason will return as host, and the event is produced by former GRAMMY Awards executive Ken Ehrlich. Additional performers and tribute details are expected to be announced as the event approaches.
