Google Unveils Android 16 With Material 3 Expressive

Google officially unveiled Android 16 at I/O 2025, introducing the major Material 3 Expressive design overhaul that emphasizes bold colors, dynamic animations, and improved customization for phones and smartwatches. The redesign aims to provide a more personal and engaging user experience, featuring Live Updates for real-time app progress, interactive notifications, a more flexible Quick Settings menu, and enhanced accessibility features.
