Record Number of Russian Drones Launched on Ukraine

Russia launched a record 90 Shahed-type drones over Ukraine, resulting in casualties, and damage to infrastructure. During a visit to a military hospital, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that his country would 'intensify' its attacks on Ukraine, following the shelling of the Russian border city of Belgorod, which killed more than two dozen people and wounded over 100 others. Putin accused Western nations of using Ukraine to attempt to 'put Russia in its place.' He stated that Russia would only target military infrastructure in Ukraine. The wave of drone attacks in Ukraine resulted in a 15-year-old boy being killed, and seven others injured.
