Juvenile Dies in Mount Airy Flood Drain Tragedy

A juvenile boy died after being swept into a drainage pipe during flash flooding in Mount Airy, Maryland, on Thursday evening. The incident happened around 5:20 p.m. in the 200 block of Watersville Road, where the boy, who lived in a nearby apartment complex, was playing with other children when water from a stormwater pond surged through the area.
