Omega Psi Phi Celebrates Founders' Day
Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. celebrated its Founders' Day with a service highlighting themes of friendship and love, led by Rev. Andrew McRae at DaySpring Baptist Church in Gainesville. Additionally, the Lambda Xi Chapter held its Annual Achievement Week Banquet in South Korea, announcing winners of the 2024 International High School Essay Contest, which addressed the impact of social media on mental health. Abigail Loken from Humphreys High School took first place, with honors also going to Julia McCants and Diego Sanchez-Rivera. Omega Psi Phi, founded in 1911 at Howard University, has initiated over 250,000 men and serves various communities globally, promoting principles of manhood, scholarship, perseverance, and uplift.
