Keith, Thornton, Chara Among 2025 Hall of Fame Inductees
The Hockey Hall of Fame's 2025 class features first-ballot inductees Duncan Keith, Joe Thornton, and Zdeno Chara, as well as Alexander Mogilny. Keith is honored for three Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks, two Norris Trophies, and two Olympic gold medals for Canada. Thornton is recognized as one of hockey's greatest centers, leading the San Jose Sharks and Boston Bruins in a 24-year career and ranking among league leaders in points and assists. Chara, celebrated for his defensive dominance and longevity, captained the Boston Bruins to a 2011 Stanley Cup and holds the NHL record for most games played by a defenseman. Women's hockey stars Jennifer Botterill and Brianna Decker are also inducted, and coaches Jack Parker and Daniele Sauvageau are honored in the Builders Category. The induction ceremony will be held on November 10 in Toronto.
