Front Row Motorsports Acquires Charter from SHR

Front Row Motorsports (FRM) has successfully acquired a third charter from Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR), a deal initially announced in May but finalized on New Year’s Eve following court rulings. The acquisition comes amid an ongoing antitrust lawsuit involving FRM and 23XI Racing against NASCAR, which has challenged the legality of the charter transfer. Judge Kenneth D. Bell ruled that NASCAR must approve the charters and recognize both teams as charter participants during the legal proceedings. While FRM's General Manager Jerry Freeze has hinted at future announcements regarding drivers and partners, NASCAR plans to appeal the ruling, leaving uncertainty around the timeline for further developments. This acquisition solidifies FRM's position as it prepares for the 2025 NASCAR season, ensuring guaranteed entries into races, including the Daytona 500.
