Whitmer Joins Indiana as QB Coach, Co-Offensive Coordinator

Chandler Whitmer, currently the pass game specialist for the Atlanta Falcons, has been appointed as the quarterbacks coach and co-offensive coordinator at Indiana University. This move follows Tino Sunseri's departure to become the offensive coordinator at UCLA. Whitmer brings a wealth of experience from his time with the Los Angeles Chargers, Clemson, and Ohio State, having worked with notable quarterbacks like Justin Herbert, Trevor Lawrence, and Justin Fields. This change is part of Indiana’s broader coaching strategy under head coach Curt Cignetti, who recently signed a new eight-year contract. Indiana has also secured new multi-year contracts for ten assistant coaches, emphasizing stability and performance incentives.
