Bravo Lawsuit Tied to 'Reality Reckoning' Movement

Gary King, star of 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht,' is facing a lawsuit filed by former crew members Samantha Suarez, a makeup artist, and Grey Duddleston, a camera operator, alleging sexual battery and misconduct. The suit claims that in July 2022, King, while intoxicated, attempted to restrain Suarez in his hotel room, causing her to fear for her safety. After reporting the incident to production company 51 Minds, both Suarez and Duddleston were allegedly fired and placed on a 'do not hire' list, while King was only warned. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles, names King, Bravo, NBCUniversal, and other production entities, citing 16 counts including harassment, wrongful termination, and emotional distress. The legal action is part of a broader 'Reality Reckoning' movement challenging misconduct in reality TV productions.
