Queen Rania condemned the ongoing Israeli blockade of humanitarian aid and noted the devastating consequences of the conflict, including significant casualties and injuries among children. She questioned the international community's tolerance of these injustices and called for accountability and adherence to international law. The Queen emphasized that the plight of the Palestinian people is intrinsically linked to global moral integrity and urged a unified approach towards achieving peace. Her remarks were echoed by filmmaker Sarah Friedland, who also condemned Israel's actions in Gaza earlier at the Venice Film Festival.
