Jennifer's Body Sequel Script Underway, Backing Uncertain

Diablo Cody is actively writing a sequel script for the 2009 film; director Karyn Kusama says what she’s heard so far sounds "fun and crazy" but declined to reveal concrete details. Kusama told Deadline she knows "some of the bones" of the follow-up and is eager to hear the finished script. Amanda Seyfried has signaled interest in reprising her role; there is no official word on which original cast members (including Megan Fox) will return or whether Kusama will direct.
