Gas Prices Drop Across Multiple States

Gasoline prices have been steadily declining across the United States, with regional variations observed. In Columbus, Ohio, the average price per gallon dropped to $2.96, while in Arkansas, it fell to $2.68. Boise, Idaho also saw a decrease to $3.12, and Kansas City, Missouri reported average prices at $2.71. Although South Carolina experienced a slight increase to $2.80, Patrick De Haan from GasBuddy attributes the overall national decline to seasonal demand changes rather than political factors. The national average is currently $3.03 and is expected to drop below $3 as Thanksgiving approaches, marking a significant decrease since May 2021.
